(Please enter your PayPal Account or Merchant ID on the settings pages.)I am Repeat Attendee, and have been invited by the host to attend the Webinar Live on Friday, June 25, 2021. {By Invitation Only}
In recent times, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has issued an alarming number of Notices of Intent to Deny (NOID), and Requests for Evidence (RFE) attacking the authenticity of Divorce Decrees obtained in Nigeria. The NOID usually contains this language or something similar: “The service has concluded the Certificate of Divorce is a “Suspect Document”…you have failed to provide evidence of a valid termination of your marriage in Nigeria.” More so, USCIS often does not explain where and how the Decree was reviewed or authenticated!
Having experienced one too many denials on this issue since 2018 and initially feeling confused, I had to invest a considerable amount of time in groundwork research on Divorce Decrees in Nigeria. Since then, I have learned so much and used this knowledge to attain approvals for numerous clients.
During this Webinar, I will discuss the results of my research and how to help your clients avoid this issue to begin with. More so, I will discuss how to still get a case approved even after USCIS has issued an RFE or NOID.
I will also provide insights into the Nigerian divorce process, my developed strategy to authenticate both customary and high court Nigerian Divorce Decrees, and HOW I’ve been able to get approvals for my clients in these situations.
Notably, I will evaluate an actual Divorce Decree in this session and show how to immediately tell a decree may be problematic. There will also be a Q & A session where I can address questions from registrants about specific cases.
By attending this Webinar, you will gain insight on:
- How Nigerian marriages are properly dissolved under the Visa Reciprocity Table.
- Ways to determine whether the Divorce Decree is Authentic or Registered.
- Tips on how to authenticate Divorce Decrees.
- Three (3) places where a Nigerian Divorce Decree should be registered to meet USCIS standards.
- A hidden instrumental gem in the Texas Family Code.
Also, discuss your case with me and other Webinar attendees!
ATTENDEES WILL GET 2 CLE HOURS (TEXAS)
